Due to a defect in the program, a virtual camera wanders around under the map of the giant Google Earth and discovers its underbelly. This algorithmic skeleton is the result of a backface culling technique that enables the program to save its RAM.The camera shots various post-industrial sites in Europe, facing the sky as an inverted archaeology. The design of these machines visions, made to be interpreted by a software, depicts an anti-landscape in which nature and culture are amalgamated. This video extract is shot under the industry of Cockerill-Sambre in Belgium.
